This is basic aftercare information, your will be provided with a indepth aftercare guide during or after fitting. Please contact a member of the team if you have any further questions.
Do not wash your hair for 3-4 days after the extensions are fitted.
Your new hair is clean and your natural hair should be fresh and ready before fitting, so there is no need to put any stress on your fitting method.
Always brush out any knots before you wash your hair or sleep on it. Always start from the bottom(tip) and work your way up slowly (to the root).
You must either braid your hair or use a soft scrunches at night to prevent tangles and friction, or during exercise
Use a soft bristle brush with no "nobbly" bits on the end..
Do not apply unnecessary tension to the fitting and root areas by tying ponytails too tight or high as the fitting method will loosen.
If you are considering colouring you have, whilst you have your extensions in, please contact me for more information. Hair loss and damage to your natural hair may be caused through colouring if not done correctly.
Please note, excessive pulling or picking of extensions may result in extensions coming out and your own hair breaking off.
With your new extension fitting, the hair and scalp can have some tension. This may lead to itching, this should go with 2 weeks. After that time if the itching remains please check your guide and follow the shampooing & styling section.. There will more than likely be a build-up of products in your fitting area.
Also hair extension aftercare products are recommended to further avoid unnecessary itching, the products are designed to maintain your new hair and contain no sulphate.
